September 2008 – We launched our new Web site and officially adopted the name New Albany Parks & Recreation. Read the press release for all the details.

October 2008 – Dave Wharton, director of New Albany Parks & Recreation, is inducted into the University of Southern California Athletic Hall of Fame. The official announcement takes place at the October 11 USC football game half-time with a black-tie ceremony to follow in May. Congratulations to Dave!
